Congratulations to Loren + Lindsay, who were engaged at Villa Irini Thira, Santorini on July 12th! Lindsay asked Loren to marry him with a magical Opal Cabochon Stardust Bea ring. Below in Loren's own words...

"As we near 6 years together, Lindsay and I set off on a European adventure. A holiday we had always dreamed off but as two workaholics, we never had the courage to take the time off work to live our dream.

Lindsay and I have been together since the start of our twenties, we have matured and grown together, while sharing so many incredible life experiences. Lindsay is the calming, intelligent, kind, and romantic influence I need in this journey of life, while I am the wild flame that keeps his heart beating a little faster than what is necessary, most of the time. Together, we’re two wild hearts. We can’t be tamed, and together, our happiness is one many are envious of.

Strong in our beliefs that everyone has the right to love who they please, we vowed we would not marry until Australian marriage laws reflected the equality we want for this world. With Australian marital laws successfully being changed to allow same sex marriage recently, Lindsay knew what he wanted to do. Dropping to one knee under the Santorini sunset, Loren received the best surprise of her life. Her dream man, wanting her hand in marriage. This experience, the feeling.. all something that doesn’t compare to any other we have had together. A wanderlust filled proposal that was genuinely perfect."
