Day 4 #marchmeetthemaker Favorite To Make: I wouldn’t say it’s a thing, but a process. This was our most popular dress in recent time-Black Cats skater dress. The awesome thing about it is, how much I loved the art, Nik Scarlett (Sourpuss artist & art director) and I have been working together for a long time, like a really long time - vintage Halloween isn’t new to either of us, this particular pattern was soooo good!!! She can take my brainstorm ideas and does some kind of magic voodoo and brings the art to life, flawlessly. That’s no joking or ass kissing. I get butterflies in my stomach while dancing around absurdly singing pretty often when it comes to product design, just ask anyone that’s worked in the office with me. This time I remember having those feelings, followed by calming satisfaction. What makes this dress so special is the collaborative effort that went into it. Not one of us was making it to be a best selling dress, we made it because we truly love what we make.
