I’ve been insulted and assaulted countless times due to my shape. I grew up with the idea that having curves is not socially acceptable and that a woman is somehow “less than” if she is not waif-like and delicate. I’ve been 40 lbs heavier, and I’ve been 25 lbs lighter, but never felt comfortable at any weight because of my hips. Well, I’m trying to change my perspective. 1. It’s no one’s business what I look like 2. I’m not an object and am in complete control of my body. It continues to grow stronger, take me places, and allow me to do things many people can’t. And Every inch is cherished by my partner. I refuse to remain imprisoned by society’s view of what is beautiful. : @sarac88
