The Red Star was a heraldic sign that was a symbol of the Red Army, was present on the flag and coat of arms of the USSR, the flags and arms of some Warsaw Pact countries, the symbols of left organizations and movements.
It is also depicted on the emblems of a number of sports clubs, such as CSKA, and some companies, such as Heineken (since the XIX century).
