Been sick all weekend but I had to hop out of bed to get to the health food store before it closed so I slapped on some foundation with my hands without a mirror and put on a light gloss and was out the door feelinng gross, pale, sick, chunky, and every other thought that goes through your minds when you're not feeling well about your appearance. And the cashier as I was checking out, just goes, "you are such a beautiful woman, and have such a sweet presence about you" I was so touched and it instantly changed my perspective. I think we can get so caught up in the world of instagram selfies and youtube makeup tutorials that we forget about the real things that matter, like the green smoothies I drink with nutrient rich kale, the suncreen rich foundation I use to protect my skin, and the exercise, nature walks, and centering relaxation i try to do to keep myself healthy and beautiful from the inside out, which is what that woman was responding to. So I wanted to share this story and my pale self, the result of beauty rituals based on love from the inside out, not with the mask of tons of makeup as a reminder of whats really important❤ Love yourself and others it's the best beauty secret I know.
