The Sacred Flame
In 1927 Johanna Maria Hendrika Daemen – or 'Jo' Daemen for short – wrote 'The Sacred Flame: The Fairytale Of Stefan Pártos', a tribute to a Hungarian violinist who died too young.
She also created all of the elaborately detailed illustrations that accompany the book, because some people are just OTT talented like that.
